Alex Wilcox Cheek

Alex Wilcox Cheek is an award-winning designer and Head of Design at SigFig, a fintech company based in San Francisco. Alex co-founded and led design for a number of start-ups including Macromicro, Classroom Salon, and Skale. For more than ten years, he taught design and led research initiatives at Carnegie Mellon University including design, HCI, information systems, and executive education. Prior to SigFig, he led strategy on the future platform experience at Learnvest, a Northwestern Mutual Company.
