Mindy Richburg

Mindy Richburg received her bachelor’s degree in Marketing - Advertising & Sales Promotion from Missouri State University (Springfield, MO) in 1996. She started her credit union journey at Midwest United Credit Union (Blue Springs, MO) in February 2000 as a Member Service Representative. She quickly moved to the Marketing & Business Development department and within a few years became a Branch Manager. In 2007, Midwest United merged with CommunityAmerica Credit Union (Lenexa, KS) and Mindy managed 2 branch locations until 2014 when she relocated to Brundidge, AL, with her family. She joined the Five Star Credit Union (Dothan, AL) team as the Corporate Branch Manager. In 2016, she became a Regional Director, overseeing 7 branches and the call center. In 2020, she was promoted to Director of Retails Support & Development, where she currently oversees, 4 areas of operations: Consumer Deposit Operations, Commercial Deposit Operations, Card Services and Financial Center Technology. Mindy is a passionate leader, who invests in developing team members to their fullest potential as well as implementing new technology for the credit union. In 2019, she was instrumental at implementing and deploying core integrated Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs) and continually works to push the bar on ITM technology. It is her passion to deploy technology in the Financial Centers that allows staff to have deeper and more meaningful conversations with members. This allows staff to live out the vision of Five Star, “To Brightening the Financial Future of the Communities We Serve.” She is married to her husband John, and has 2 teenagers, Josiah (15) and Noelle (13). In her free time, Mindy enjoys making memories with her family by watching her kids play football, baseball, softball, track, and band, and traveling around the great state of Alabama.
