Alana Toy is the Retail Transformation Manager in Synovus’s Retail Bank Management space and has been in the banking industry for ten years. Her experience spans everything from running a branch with a few employees to overseeing an entire area and managing several. Throughout her decade of experience in banking, she’s worked on special projects such as revamping the onboarding process and training curriculum for branch managers. Before becoming a banker, Alana worked in retail clothing for more than ten years, where she managed popular retail stores like Victoria’s Secret and Wet Seal, first as a store manager, and later a district manager, where she spearheaded the opening of store locations across the country. Alana grew up in a military family and has lived in 13 states. She attended the University of Colorado Boulder, where she received her Bachelor’s in Education.
