Chris has applied this approach to help UFCU deepen and reimagine existing partnerships with institutions such as the University of Texas, Texas State, and Austin Community College and to establish new ones. By doing so, Chris has strengthened UFCU’s role as a vital community partner, fostering economic empowerment and opportunity across Central Texas and Houston. With over 20 years of experience in the technology and financial sectors, Chris has consistently focused on growth and building sustainable relationships across a diverse range of companies and regions. His strategic vision and adeptness at navigating complex challenges have been pivotal to his success in senior leadership roles at DOSH, WP Engine, Iron Mountain, Chipper, MacroFab, and numerous other startup ventures. A passionate advocate for community transformation, Chris serves on the boards of several organizations, including the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, The Other Ones Foundation, Sunrise Homeless Navigation Center, We Love Our City, and Founders Institute of Texas. His mentorship and advisory roles with incubators like DIVInc and Kingdom Capital reflect his dedication to fostering diverse entrepreneurial ecosystems and supporting underrepresented communities. Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications and English, with a minor in Business Administration, from the University of Washington.
