Chris Turnley is a purpose-driven senior executive and engaging keynote speaker with more than 25 years of leadership experience spanning credit unions, fintech, SaaS, Non-Profits, and Fortune 500 companies. He has dedicated his life to increasing access so that everyone can live out their full purpose, take meaningful steps toward the American Dream, and move forward from wherever they are starting today.
As Chief Operating Officer at CoastHills Credit Union on California’s Central Coast, Chris focuses on expanding access to financial tools, education, and resources that empower every person in the community to bring their dreams within reach.
Previously, as Executive Vice President at University Federal Credit Union, he was a leading voice for community investment and resource deployment—including housing, food, education, workforce development, and financial access—helping make the dream of flourishing available to every one of his Central Texas neighbors.
His entrepreneurial and growth leadership includes co-founding and serving as Chief Commercial Officer of Dosh (acquired by Cardlytics); serving as SVP of Global Revenue at WP Engine; SVP of North America Data Protection at Iron Mountain; and Chief Revenue Officer roles at MacroFab and Metacommunications. He also founded Growth Fusion Advisors, consulting with hundreds of clients on strategy, revenue scaling, go-to-market execution, and culture.
Chris is a sought-after keynote speaker and presenter known for blending innovation with practical operational insight, servant leadership, and purpose. He frequently speaks on fintech and founding, purpose-driven and love-driven leadership, member experience and omnichannel strategy, digital transformation that never loses the human element, sales cultures that are both bold and humble, financial inclusion and economic equity, AI governance in regulated environments, and integrating faith with marketplace leadership.
A passionate advocate for ending homelessness and expanding financial access, Chris serves as Chairman of The Other Ones Foundation and holds board and advisory roles with Kingdom Capital Network, Sunrise Homeless Navigation Center, the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, Dream Together 2030, and others.
Chris holds a B.A. from the University of Washington and has completed executive education at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, MIT Sloan, Harvard Business School, Northwestern Kellogg, and UC Berkeley Haas.
He and his wife Erin are the parents of three sons. Chris brings the same faith-driven commitment to service, continuous learning, and building high-impact cultures to every stage and conversation.
