With more than two decades in financial services, Daniel Hoke possesses the rare combination of firsthand experience leading business strategy and business line execution to create measurable transformation to serve changing customer needs and preferences. Dan is responsible for U.S. Bank's multi-year transformation of over 2,200 retail branch assets across 26 states and ATM Banking, which serves hundreds of millions of customer transactions annually at over 4,700 U.S. Bank ATMs and 46,000 network ATMs. Most recently, he was responsible for leading the due diligence and comprehensive conversion of the acquired Union Bank branches and ATMs. Dan also leads the ATM Cash Management business for 60,000 nationally placed ATMs for independent service providers. Dan has over 20 years of service with U.S. Bank in a variety of staff and line leadership roles across consumer and business banking including Chief Strategy Officer for Branch Banking, where he developed effective go-to market strategies, capital planning, and branch transformation, operations, and branch technology. He also led complex business units in retail and business banking and managed strategic business transactions, including acquisitions and divestitures. Before joining U.S. Bank, Dan started his career with Wells Fargo. Dan holds a Master of Business Administration from the Opus College of Business at the University of St. Thomas and earned his undergraduate degree in mathematics from South Dakota State University. He is also a graduate and past faculty member at the Consumer Bankers Association's Graduate School for Executive Bank Management. A passionate advocate for people with disabilities, Dan serves on the board of directors for Opportunity Partners, a non-profit provider of vocational and residential services for adults with disabilities in Minnesota. At U.S. Bank, Dan was the founding sponsor of the Disability Business Resource Group at U.S. Bank, as well as a past board member for U.S. Bank's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs for international and domestic employees. He also serves on the Executive Panel for channel strategy at the nonprofit Bank Administration Institute (BAI), which pursues the latest research and thought leadership amongst financial institutions, solution providers, and fintech companies.
