David Puente is a Regional Director who firmly believes positive relationships are the building blocks to a successful team and company. He is a San Antonio native who began working at Firstmark Credit Union right out of High School-which was a LONG TIME AGO. There were big plans for him to go into the tech world but that quickly changed when he developed a new passion. A passion that included improving the financial well-being of his institution members. With encouragement from his leaders, he moved quickly through the institution’s ranks of branch and lending positions to become a highly engaged leader.
In his free time, he enjoys the outdoor life of camping with the indoor luxuries of a travel trailer. With one son, five daughters and a wife of twenty years, indoor luxuries makes for happy campers for him and his family. His educational background includes a B.S. from the University of Phoenix with a certification in Crucial Conversations. which he uses to facilitate learning sessions for non-profits and management basic courses at Firstmark Credit Union.
