Building for Growth - Human Centered and Innovative Branches

2:00 PM Panel: Structuring Small Business Banking for Relationship Growth

Small business banking often spans deposits, lending, treasury services, and advisory support, yet many institutions still organize these capabilities in ways that feel fragmented to customers. This panel examines how banks and credit unions are structuring teams, roles, and ownership models to create stronger relationship continuity and uncover broader growth opportunities. Speakers will discuss how institutions define coverage between branch teams, specialists, and digital channels, where handoffs most often weaken momentum, and how internal alignment can lead to more meaningful small business engagement. The discussion will also explore how relationship models differ by institution size and market strategy.

Attendees will hear how leaders are thinking about how to:

  • Clarify ownership across small business touchpoints
  • Strengthen handoffs between service, lending, and advisory teams
  • Organize teams around relationship continuity
  • Expand growth opportunities through better internal alignment

Check out the incredible speaker line-up to see who will be joining Jim.
