Jim Stadler

Jim joined first Midwest as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing and Communications Officer in January 2018. In this role, Jim will be responsible for developing comprehensive, integrated messaging across marketing, communications, and public relations to build our brand, reinforce our culture, and drive revenue growth.

Prior to First Midwest, Jim was Managing Partner and head of business development at Schafer Condon Carter (SCC), an independent creative and technology agency based in Chicago, leading business and strategic planning for SCC clients, including First Midwest. Throughout his 30-year

career, Jim developed a strong track record in leadership, business growth, innovation and transformation of Fortune 500 and privately-owned companies on both client and agency side. He also gained in-depth knowledge of our organization and our business, having been instrumental in developing our successful Momentum Makers brand campaign. Prior to joining SCC in 2005, he was Senior Vice President, Group Management Director at DDB Worldwide, and previously held

senior marketing roles at McDonald’s Corporation and Kimberly Clark.

Jim earned his BA in Political Science and Economics from Southern Methodist University and is actively involved in several professional organizations, including the Commonwealth Club of Chicago, Association of National Advertisers and the Chicago Advertising Federation.
