Kathy Jumper

Kathy Jumper was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Orange County’s Credit Union in 2023. In this role, she leads the Santa Ana-based financial services provider and works closely with the Board of Directors and Executive Management Team. Together, they shape the Credit Union's culture, strategic trajectories, and community impact. With a natural ability to identify opportunities within an organization, Jumper spearheads growth and enhances Member experiences. Her overarching vision is devoted to strengthening the institution's regional footprint and nurturing its values-driven ethos, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to the Credit Union's future. Before joining Orange County's Credit Union, Jumper served as the Chief Retail Officer for Members 1st Federal Credit Union. She oversaw the operations of a $7 billion financial institution and led a team of over 700 associates dedicated to improving the financial well-being of people and businesses of all sizes. In this capacity, Jumper was in charge of the credit union's 60 branch network, branch operations, contact center, market research, and digital experience. Her leadership fostered organic Membership growth by implementing innovative strategies and streamlining processes that improved the Member experience. Jumper has more than 25 years of experience in financial services including banks and credit unions. Jumper is deeply committed to expanding the Credit Union's community impact beyond her professional accomplishments. She champions financial empowerment initiatives, promotes community development, and builds partnerships to improve the quality of life for families in underserved or low-income areas. Throughout these efforts, she remains steadfast in upholding the mission of giving back and enhancing the lives of individuals within the community. Additionally, Jumper serves on the National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions (NAFCU) Regulatory and Cyber Committee and CCW National Advisory Board. Jumper holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and a postgraduate degree from the American Banker Association Stonier Executive Banking School of Georgetown University
