Mike Irwin

Mike Irwin is the Director of Digital Strategy & Innovation at University Federal Credit Union (UFCU) where he is focused on leading teams dedicated to creating innovative digital experiences that solve systemic challenges and empower UFCU’s members to achieve financial health. By leveraging a design-thinking approach and using qualitative research, Mike helps UFCU better understand the behaviors and needs of their members to ensure they are connecting in meaningful ways. He believes in working collaboratively while reimagining how to simplify everyday interactions by aligning people, processes, and technology to deliver the desired business outcomes. He respects and values diversity and inclusion, and insists teams have a learning culture that encourages creativity and experimentation in a fun environment. Mike joined UFCU in 2003 and holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Concordia University – Austin.
