Steve Hamilton

Steve Hamilton teaches design at Parson’s School of Strategic Design and Management and is a Distinguished Adjunct of Professional Practice at Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Design. After a year-long consultancy at Ponce Bank in the Bronx, NY overseeing Branch Transformation, he was hired full-time as Designer-in-Residence reporting directly to the CEO where he is now overseeing a fully operational “test-lab” branch in East Harlem as well as spearheading a multi-disciplined innovation team reorganizing back-office operations. At Ponce Bank Steve is engendering a co-creative, participatory culture of innovation employing design practices one frequently sees at high-tech firms but have been, until recently, relatively untested within the world of Community Banking.
